Data that we will collect and its use.
- Your contact information (name, street address, email address). This information will be used to process your Revolutionary Web Solutions transactions. We will also use this information to offer you special discounts periodically. You will have the option of unsubscribing to this service.
- Your credit card information. This information will be used to process your financial transactions. For your protection, this information will not be retained on file, but will be deleted after each transaction. You can, however, request that we retain your credit card data for your convenience, in which case we will ensure that you data will be sufficiently safeguarded.
- Your order details. This historical information (e.g., whether you ordered hosting or web-sighting, membership website or ePublishing) will be stored in our database and used for research and development and to improve our services. This information will also be used to offer you special savings on future orders.
- Customer Survey Satisfaction data. This information is voluntary, and will be used to improve our level of service to you, our customer. All satisfaction data will be entered as anonymous data into a database that will be separate from the customer data. We reserve the right to post customer satisfaction data on our website as a Testimonial, to show potential customers the quality of service we provide. We may ask to use your first name and last initial on those comments, and you'll have the choice to remain anonymous. When you give us your permission to use your name, you will receive a discount on your next order.
The above information will only be available to a small group of Revolutionary Web Solutions employees. Only the owners and administrators of Revolutionary Web Solutions ("Core Group"), working in an official capacity, will have access to your personal data. Furthermore, Revolutionary Web Solutions's Core Group will only access data that is relevant to project completion. Designers, writers, and other Revolutionary Web Solutions team members will not be able to access your personal data, but will only have access to the contents of the projects that you order. This is in line with our policy to disclose your information to the fewest number of individuals necessary, so that we can provide you the highest quality service while keeping your personal data secure.
To add further protection, only the Revolutionary Web Solutions Core Group will interface with you during your project's lifecycle.
Under normal circumstances, your data will not be shared with any other entities. This includes advertisers, business partners of Revolutionary Web Solutions, etc. We understand the importance of maintaining vigilance against security breaches, and will take all necessary steps to ensure that your data does not reach unintended recipients.
In unusual circumstances, your data may be disclosed to other entities. Civil authorities may demand that we share personal data in cases of fraud, identity theft, legal purposes, or any other matter in which your information may be tied to a civil matter. In this case, we have no choice but to disclose that information. - Credit card information. For those customers who prefer we save credit card information in our system for convenience: To prevent fraud and other malicious acts, Revolutionary Web Solutions has a two-step process in place (telephone and emails) to change your credit card information on our servers:
Call us with your new credit card information. (This change can only be initiated by a phone call, for your security.)
We will send you a follow-up email after the phone call acknowledging your request for credit card change. When you reply back and confirm the credit card request for change, we will change your credit card information in our system.
Privacy Policy Changes.
